It’s unfortunate to hear that yet another direct sales candle business has shut its doors – and completely shut out all of it’s consultants.

I’m still seeing posts all over the internet by reps who are asking ‘What Happened?’

Again we’re now hearing about lies and broken promises. We’re hearing about the reps that ordered product back in October and still haven’t received their orders – or refunds. We’re hearing about customers that only received partial orders – if they received anything at all.

In this day and age, it’s sad. Especially when this comes on the heels of another candle company closing down in a very similar fashion (Sweet Cupcake Candles).

It seems to me that consultants always have the threat of legal action or being thrown out of the company if they question why something was done (or not done). That’s simply not fair to the consultants, who are trying to earn an honest income and have chosen the companies they represent for a reason. I know I would certainly be cringing about being out $50, let alone the hundreds of dollars like some MQ consultants are at this moment.

My heart goes out to everyone involved.
