It may be rather gratifying to learn that Google ended up wiping out one of it’s own blogs after it was marked as spam!

The Custom Search Blog which is hosted on Google’s own Blogger was tagged as spam and the bloggers overlooked the automated notification they were sent.  As nothing had been done to rectify the situation, the blog was disabled.  TOOOOOOO FUNNY!

Once a blog is disabled in Blogger, the name goes back into the pot at which time anyone can grab it.  Someone using the name Srkanth swooped in and left a joke post.  Apparently Google has now rectified the situation and has taken control of their blog again.

Must be nice to be able to contact Google/Blogger so quickly when problems like this arise.  I’ve never been able to find a phone number!
