It’s that time of year again, when one should be reflecting on the past year and updating one’s business plan.
I’ve been putting some thought into my business goals for 2008 and here’s what I’ve got so far:
-
Bring on new authors for the monthly online Wahms United Home Business Magazine. I currently have 1 author lined up who will be submitting Direct Sales articles each month and that is Kara Kelso from 2wahms.com and MomsMarketOnline.com. Are you an expert? If so and you are interested in contributing one article per month that will be featured in our monthly magazine, contact me! I’d love to hear from you
- Write 3 - 4 informative blog posts per week. I keep slipping in this area, yet I’m resolving my determination to get ‘er done.
- Comment on 5 - 10 blogs per week - I’ll be using the very cool Comment Kahuna software to find targeted blogs to comment on. If you haven’t heard of Comment Kahuna, check it out - it’s free!
- Become a Senior Manager with Send Out Cards. I love SOC and how it’s helping my business grow. I’m getting referrals from my customers simply because I send them ‘just because’ cards letting them know how much I appreciate their business. If you’re interested in a unique way to increase business, I’d love to talk to you about the opportunity that Send Out Cards has for you!
- Increase subscribers to the Wahm Business Club by 500 members - this is a thrilling goal for me. The WBC just recently received a huge makeover and now I’m working on adding in TONS of terrific content including courses on SEO, Increasing Traffic, Blogging, List Building, Marketing and just tons and tons of great stuff for our members. Membership is on now for only $10.00 annually and it will be increasing in the New Year
I’ve already begun to work on a mind map which will help me with my organization and work flow. Have you tried mind mapping? I love seeing my outlines come to life in a graphical way that’s easy to understand. I’ll be sharing some of my mindmaps here soon.
Give mind mapping a try for free with EDraw Mind Map. Why do I like mind mapping? I’m a visual person who likes seeing everything laid out before me in an organized manner. It works for me, and it works for millions of other mind mappers
By using mind maps, I can start off with my large goals, break them down according to business, and break them down even further into monthly benchmarks which are stepping stones to be celebrated on my path to my large goals.
