Finally… Snow in December, with the very real possibility that we’ll have a white Christmas!

Yesterday Mother Nature really dumped on us. We got a TON of snow, and believe me when I say that the following pictures that I snapped this morning honestly don’t do it justice!

It took my husband 2 hours to get to and from work yesterday (yes, he is one of those insane people that will drive through anything – and the only person that I personally trust to get through safely). Driving a little Honda Civic, he drove down a back country road to get home .. when he came up on an intersection with 3 police cars blocking the road, he figured there’d been a major accident. Turns out they were there warning motorists to turn around and go home as the roads were closed in all directions, as were all the major highways in Southwestern Ontario.

As he’d already made it more than halfway home by that point, the officer let my hubby continue, with a word of warning that they would not be able to come rescue him if he ran into trouble. Needless to say they were absolutely floored that he’d driven our little red rocket down the road he was on LOL.
