*** UPDATE *** Dec. 23/09: I have not had ANY contact with Angela Wenke since at least January of 2009. Please feel free to share your thoughts, issues etc. here!!!
Our very first Wahm-tabulous Wednesday is here! I`m excited about our new theme days and I hope you are too! Every Wednesday I`ll be introducing you to a Work At Home Mom. Today, it`s a terrific lady by the name of Angela Wenke, who also just so happens to be my new Business Partner with Wahms United and the Wahm Business Club!
I haven`t known Angie all that long, but we`ve already become the best of friends and we work very well together :) Back in October of 2007, I replied to an email that I saw in one of the Yahoo Groups that I participate in. The subject of the post was Looking For A Talk Radio Co-Host. Angie already had plans well under way and when our first show aired, we new that Frugal Wahms Talk Radio was going to be terrific. What started off as a weekly 1 hour live internet talk radio show has now developed into two show`s per week, and we have a tendancy to go well over that 60 minute mark LOL.
So, back to Angie:
Angie is a full time Work At Home Mom from the St. Louis, MO area. Married to the love of her life, Angie and Chris have two teenage daughters.
Crafting has been in many family for many years, It came mainly from being raised from a single mom where our Income was very limited, so for Holidays we would come up with great crafts to create for our loved ones~ This was the best time of my childhood using our creativity and making new items, whether it was crocheting, sewing, candle making and more.
As I got married and had children of my own I passed on my crafting to them with making homemade holiday ornaments and crafts throughout the year. Now being part of this great Country and Primitive Community feels just like meeting a second family. I have been very blessed to meet many mentors and friends over the years. One such mentor gave met the encouragement I needed to open and start Heartland Graphics.
I started using Graphics that i purchased from other sites and had permission to use, then gradually over the last two years I have incorporated my own graphics and seen my business grow and thrive. It has been a wonderful experience and I cannot thank my Prim Community for the great emails and support.
I think that is what I love most about our wonderful Prim community is everyone helping one another out to succeed in our online businesses.

When I asked Angie what the biggest challenge she’s had to overcome as a Work At Home Mom, she had this to say:
One of the biggest things I seem to have a hard time with while being a work at home moms is deligating my time between home and business. Even though I am a work at home I tend to find that I spend more time filling orders, answering questions of clients that my work times spills into my family time. Over the years I have learn a fewed tricks to get my house work done and also make sure I have plenty of time with my family.
First to get my work done without worrying that it interferes with my family is I have a set daily schedule I try to work on. I work online from the moment I get up until my girls are showered and ready to eat breakfast in the morning and then I will take the last half hour before they go to school to chat with them. Then once they are off on the bus I am back at work. I divide my time where I work for one hour then do a chore, work for another hour and do another chore such as start laundry, mop kitchen floor etc. Another thing I did was I decided I had been online for long enough and over the years I had established myself and my businesses that it was time to set STRICT hours. So on all of my website I now have that my hours are Monday -Friday 8am-5pm that does not mean I won’t answer orders on the weekends or answer emails but this way customers know NOT to expect that I will get right back to them. This allows me to have Family time with my own family on the weekends at night! It is always important to make sure you try not to allow your business time to spill into your family time HOWEVER I have to admit I am guilty of responding to an occasional email off the clock ha ha!

OHI know Angela – this is the girl that charged me 400.00 for a website then left it sitting a mess and ignored all my email . Yes all 70-80 pieces of mail . 400.00 paid to her
and she left my site sitting 3 month and took off.

the store that will not issue you a recepit for your taxes.
Must be nice to charge someone 400.00 keep their money , screw them on their purchase and not pay tax.
Oh yes and then to say a percentage of your sales on your site is going to cancer in memory of your mother – then to send a letter to say she died again – WHO were you collecting for, dont worry angie the cancer society is looking into it. After all i am sure you made the donation.
You should be ashamed of yourself writing all these articles – how to help the work at home

Angie has decided to take the store back
She is stealing it back after a payment is 4 days late so I acting for my mom have decided to delete the store
I will not allow Angie to take my moms work she has been pouring into the store. It took my mom over a month to straighten out the download errors in the store so you could get your products on time and not have to wait. She sat up for days on end fixing it and repairing the errors there she would send email after email to Angie to get products that were suppose to be there and had been bought by the customers only to be ignored, and now that it is fixed Angie wants it back well she can have the shell. Mom is not able to defend herself right now so I have taken matters into my own hands

Well Well Well, nice to see I’m not the only one you ripped off here! What a scam artist u are, and btw didn’t ur mom die yet again this past month??? OMG. U should see my store, after u sent me the TUT on how to change the background, looks fantastic now, there isn’t anything there, it wiped the whole store out!!! TY very much, I filed a claim with the BBB u will be hearing from them shortly. $375 for what???? How many more ppl are u gonna scam b4 ppl take notice and actually hit u where it hurts? U are a real piece of work ladee. I have to hire someone else now to fix UR mistakes but I promise u one thing, it won’t come out of my pocket. First let me say that I am absolutely stunned by the comments being posted here, but very glad that I can provide a place where everyone can work together on righting these wrongs. I will again reiterate that I have not worked with Angela in at least a year, nor have I had contact with her.
Anyone who rips people off like this is no good in my books .. if it was just one comment, it might be explainable.. but the complaints just keep coming it seems. And that is definitely not right.
Please know that everyone effected by the wrong doings of Angela has my support in whatever way I can provide it.

I will give a brief description, in it the Topic Is,as you can see “Do You Provide Good Customer Service”, she says and I quote always “follow the Golden Rule, that the Customer is ALWAYS RIGHT”! and to provide an apology and give a REFUND! just thought u all would like to see this and maybe use these her own words against her, I have posted a response to that Article, naturally, as I am not going to sit on my hands on this. I have contacted the BBB, on her, and THanks to the info I got here I am filing with the Attorney General Freud Dept, in her State and with paypal. The more ppl who file a claim the better our chances of seeing Angie pay for what she has done and stop her from doing tis to others. And Yes, I have also Contacted Blog Talk Radio to be a Guest Speaker on this as well, not sure how it works but I hope to soon find out. With the help of all of you we can put an end to Angela’s Reign. Thank you Dianne for your support I hope to be hearing more from you as well. I am not a vindictive person, I just want what I paid for, and clearly I did not get it, and from what you all have written here, neither did you.

I stumbled across this page by accident. I was most alarmed at the comments about this lady and how she had robbed you of your money.
I just wanted to say that I have recently had dealings with her and purchased some CDs from her website. Although I have not received the CDs yet, she has been most helpful and has directed me to about 700 downloads to keep me going while she sorts out why the discs have not arrived, she has also offered me a very substantial coupon to use on her website to download more. I can’t think what more she could do to help, so I needed to say that she has been more than helpful to me in this instance.
A 5 day site she offers , well i was OVER 3 months with this person.
What i ended up with was a broken down website , preveiws that were
all slapped together overlapping pictures , the product to the previews was
NOT there just an EMPTY folder – 60 to 70 pieces of mail to her , she would NOT even answer to give the me the information so i could access my site .
My site was TOTALLY stuck sitting .
Had i not of found this company to help me i would of LOST rights to any
part of my broken site.
Yes her mother died twice , her grandmother died , she had pneumonia,
oh and her sister gave birth early. BUT in the meantime i notice on HER
site , it is redesigned 4 TIMES , offering sale after sale !!!!!!
Even a donation day for the cancer society in memory of her mother
and grandmother who died 2 years ago!!!

Hi everyone.. I wanted to let you know that I’ve contacted Angela regarding this situation. She needs to know what is being said here, and have a chance to respond. I’ve offered to act as a “mediator” between all of you and her in order to try and fix these issues – if that’s possible.
Being called a scam artist is a very serious thing, some people rightly deserve that title, while others don’t. I want to give Angela a chance to respond and hear her side of things..
I said I’d do whatever I could to help.. hopefully this is the first step!!
I have had yet another email from Angie, and once again she has been most helpful. I have had my voucher for the site and downloaded lots of stuff, in fact I’m extremely happy with my purchase. What more can I say, just give her a chance to answer you, she has been away for Christmas and people do not want to be stuck to the computer 24/7.
Dianne, so has Angela decided to come forward and address these issues or not? Have you heard anything back from her?
As for you Ester, I am very happy that you are ONE of the lucky one’s I mean read the whole list of ppl that were actually taken and ripped off by her, and read your posts. You will find you are the ONLY one that has had a positive experience here, why is that? Are the rest of us just crazy? And making false accusations, NO! All we want is what she her self promised us and told us she could do. We gave our hard earned money to some one we trusted, 1) because she had so many stores that she had build, but thats just smoke and mirrors I think. A few stores will get what they paid for sure, thats so she has something to show you want to see something she has done. And a few customers will actually get the CDs they ordered, not all, I know someone else that ordered a CD 4 weeks ago and it’s still hasn’t arrived at her door.
I have lots of Emails from Angie my self, promising me things and never delivered in any of them. Then in a blink of an eye, my store and dreams were gone. She deleted everything. I would love to hear what she has to say about all of this. I am going to write the Attorney General Of Freud in her State of Ill. and file a former complaint against her. I am tired of waiting for something that I know will never happen. I am not going to play games with her or allow her to rip me off like this. I want what I paid her to do, or she can pay me back what I paid her #375.
First off Laurie I am more than willing to work with you to correct what you are upset about and I am in contact with the BBB over the case you brought before me to also work with them.
And the other person making negative comments on here is Susan who purchased Heartland Graphics from me and then after receiving later and later payments and then finally not receiving a payment for Decemeber I sent her email telling her I needed payment per our written agreement within 3 days or I would take ownership of the site again. Instead of waiting the three day period that I offered she went in and closed down the site and deleted everything. But luckily I had the site setup with back up. It clearly stated in our agreement failure to make payments makes the site default back to me because I was generously allowing her to make payments because times were tough. And I will NOT apologize for keeping good on our written contract I was NOT going to take the site back until the three days were up until she decided to take her vengeance out and destroy the site just like what she wrote in the email that is posted on your site. Maybe you guys should read the contract we had before you start judging me! If you had a written contract for payment on a site and the payment did not come through would you be ok with that?????
If you have issues with me come to me. I am quite sure as long as I have been in business I have pissed off a few people . And Laurie you are right to be pissed at me because your site was almost completed but it was not fully completed due to difficulties in my life such as my mothers passing which I realize is of NO consideration of yours.
As to Ester she lives in Spain and anyone dealing with the USPS knows they DO NOT Offer tracking for packages that are international so when Ester DID Not receive her CD’s I compensated her personally because I felt awful just as I would do for anyone else who did not receive their CD’s and thank you Ester for pointing that out. Every CD I sent within in US has delivery confirmation to allow residents to track the packages.
As to Dianne I have not spoke to her in more than a year or even heard from her, but I have no ill feelings towards her we were good online friends and we just went out separate ways as sometimes happens in life! But Hello Diane! MIssed you!
Feel free to use this forum to crucify me to your likings! But I have spoke my peace! I know the online world is a HARSH one and one that is hard to defend yourself in, But I have been in business for over 12 years and I try to treat my customers well but I am sure there is always going to be someone ticked at me!
Also all the negative posts on this were posted by ONE person Laurie not multiple people
And I never deleted your store you changed hosting providers lord at least get your information correct I wouldnt delete someone’s store that was hosting with me
Ok folks.. this entire issue has been bothering me to no end. This is a very difficult and emotional situation :(
I would like to thank everyone for their comments, however I’m putting a stop to this here.
Obviously there are two different sides to this, which won’t be resolved by accusations on a public blog. Angela has clearly stated that she is willing to work with all parties involved to rectify these issues, and that should be that.. she hasn’t dropped off the face of the internet, or changed her name etc as some legitimate wahm scammers have done in the past.
If anyone would like to contact my privately regarding this issue, I welcome you to do so, as my offer of assistance still stands, but the public comments here are now closed.

I am sincerely sorry to hear yet another complaint about Angela.. so.. let the conversations continue.. and that was a super idea about sending this link to the fraud departments and/or the BBB as documentation on other complaints and Angela’s response, and hopefully from there someone can get things sorted out!
To Whom this may Concern,
I know there is a lot of talk being spread around About Angel Wenke, and how she has been ripping ppl off and so on, I too was included in the defaming of her character. I want ALL reading this to know that Angela and I are working our problems out right now. I have agreed to her terms and she has agreed with mine, she is now back working on my site as she promised and Stated that she would. She is at least trying to be decent about this whole matter, and I suggest if you want to make things right with her, just email her directly and she will work something out with you as well.
I can not promise you anything that would be between Angie and you. I can ONLY tell you that she is making it right with me right now. I promised her, I would let everyone know that she and I are on the same page now, and that we have come to a fantastic arrangement, and are working through our differences. She has been very kind about everything all she has asked of me is to please stop with the Postings and the mass emails I have sent to various Groups about her. I am complying with her requests. This is a Win Win situation for us both. Possibly for you as well. Just contact Angela and I’m sure you too can come to some sort of an agreement that you both come out Winners. This is what I have been wanting all along that was it, just my store up and running the way it should of been.
Also, just so you all know it was NOT Angela who shut down my store or tore down my store, I have a confirmation of that by host gator. That was an error on my part, and a total misjudgement as well. I assumed it was Angela as soon as I seen the store was gone. I have since Apologized to her and thought it only right to let the rest of you know she had no hand in the matter what so ever. If you would like to see the proof just email me and I will be happy to provide it. I realize not all will agree with me, or even listen to these words, but for those of you that do, I speak from the heart and tell only the Truth as I know it to be. You can jump on the Hate Angela Band Wagon, or try things a lil differently, maybe not the way I did, but try and come to terms and settle things like adults. As they say you can catch more flies with honey, then with vinegar.
Now, all I ask you to do is stop and think about whats to gain here? No body wins if you don’t try a lil finesse.
We can all learn from this hopefully and move on, and that is to get our stores up and running smoothly.

I bought angelas store as she offered for sale,a mass amount of items for a discount price 35% of the links do not work,so there for i get no downloads of my items,I have contacted her about this on several occasions and she DOES NOT respond to my emails.
She is a total JERK in my opinion!
Well I am another one of Angelas customers – she charged 400.00 (prepaid)to build a website and she took off refusing to answer my mail with my 400.00. I wrote to her as she stated in this article and AGAIN she is not answering any mail. I will forward the mail to you to show you if u like , along with 50 other pieces of mail I have kept. And there is NO error in my part. I would like for her to clear this mess up as I am also at the BBB with a complaint to her. Yes Angie you are well aware of this , just look in your mail .
The BBB asked Angie to upload my links for the buy ALL cd graphics that were to be uploaded to my website , instead she left previews with not files to download she wouldnt even answer to that. Thank You Dianne for assisting us with ANgies mess.

I paid you 400.00 for a website , with buy all cd and 100 websets.
You left my site , refused to answer all emails – as I mailed to ALL 4 stores.
You left my site a total mess , previews overlapping, and files to download were
all missing.
You left it sitting for 3 months until I could hire someone to access it.
I lost all sales on new graphics I purchased for the site.
I lost 400.00 paid to you to build the site.
It took me 2 months to fix the mess you left me , loosing any and all sales for 5 MONTHS.

I would like to know what her intentions are in fixing this mess. Again I apologize for having to write in here to get this person to handle this – but I paid her 400.00 US and I would like SOMETHING for my money. Thank you for offering to try to help resolve these issues.

Yes , I wrote Angie as she stated on the page here , but NO answer.
I have been speaking to the BBB again , they questioned as what paypal fraud dept is doing,and they have asked me to report this to http://www.IC3.gov. – which is The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C), and the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA).
I do not know if this will help anyone else.
