Link love is always a good thing, and this month I want to thank the following Entrecard Droppers for visiting me so often :)
It’s that time of year again, when our little ghosts and goblins (or Obama’s and McCain’s!) head out for a fun night of trick-or-treating. In my opinion, October 31st is definitely an evil night. Yep, honestly and truly evil. Why? Because I can be as bad as my 5 year old and not be able to keep my hand out of the candy jar LOL.
The name is weird… but the site is definitely up and coming! Here’s the description from Mel at SlogBite.com:
“SlogBite” is a new concept in Blog/Site directories. It seems that most existing directories cater onfly to blogs, or are subject matter specific. Personally, I don’t see why a directory can’t support both Blogs and Sites. In fact, how much of a difference is there between a “blog” and a “site?” In my view they both represent a “web presence.” Any distinction between the two has long since dissipated into the “blogesphere”, or should I say “webesphere.” There are many sites, including mine, that have used a blog theme rather than creating a web site from scratch. Therefor, I have taken it upon myself to create a new term; “SlogBite,” an anagram for “blog” and “site” as another word for “web presence.”
Knowing what is being said about you, your business and your target market is an important habit that every work at home mom should be on top of. Spend some time every day listening so you don’t get left trying to play catch up.
When I say “spending some time”, I don’t mean hours a day. Once everything is set up, a few minutes a day, or even weekly will help you stay on top of your market happenings.
I realize that I’m lumping a lot into one post, but as it’s been a while, I figured you deserve a big update :)
#1 on the list is OIO Publisher – this is by far the best advertising system that I’ve come across and can be used as a stand alone system (on websites) or as a Wordpress plugin. All of the banners and buttons that you see on Wahm Cafe are now powered by OIO Publisher, and can be purchased with either Entrecard Credits, or with cash using PayPal.
