Motrin Alienates Baby Wearing Moms In Bad Marketing Campaign

With the launch of their new website video, Motrin has created an uproar in the Mom community. Twitter has become a major player in spreading the news about this major advertising fiasco.
It seems that Motrin believes that baby-wearing moms are in constant pain because of wearing our babies all the time. I was a baby wearing mom when both of my kids were born, and I personally know what a lifesaver my sling was.
This is one extreme example of a company not knowing their target audience and alienating the people they were hoping to attract into using their product.

Needless to say, Moms are taking a stand. As I mentioned, Twitter has become the major voice behind the boycott, with Katja Presnal launching the first wave of the attack.
