The All New Wahm Cafe

I have to admit, at the start of the summer I was pretty nervous about keeping my 6 year old son occupied until September 8th, when school starts again.  For the most part however, he’s had very little “I’m Bored” time.  Sure, he’s probably spent a little too much time playing video games, but that’s not something I’m overly concerned about during summer vacation.  The main thing is that he’s having a good time.

Thanks to new friends who have a boy the same age as my son, we’ve spent a lot of time bouncing kids back and forth from house to house, while building our adult friendships too.   It’s been a very long time since I’ve had a local friend to hang out with, which definitely makes for a nice change of pace :)  Even if it’s just sitting outside in the shade on a hot, sunny day watching the boys play in the pool.  Having a friend there with you can make all the difference in the world to your mental health.

In June before school let out for the summer, I wasn’t in the best place as far as remaining in the WAHM community goes.  I’ve avoided it at all costs for months now in fact.  That doesn’t mean I haven’t had a fantastic summer though .. I’ve spent a lot time away from home and out having a great time with the musicians that my business partner and I are working with.   It’s a true passion that we’re just getting started with, and all I can say is .. BRING IT ON!!

But I MISS YOU!!! Every single one of you :))  And judging by some of the emails I’ve received from you, Wahm Cafe has been missed too.  So here’s a fair warning to the WAHM World – WAHM CAFE IS COMING BACK! It’s going to be BIGGER and BETTER than ever before!

It’s going to be a bit of a process to put my plans in place around here, as I’ve got several client websites and blogs that I’m working on right now too.. so please bear with me on this.
