I woke up this morning with no inspiration.. no motivation.  It’s tough waking up like that!

My husband and I have been going through a rough patch.  Unfortunately his health has taken a surprising twist, and waiting for news on just what we’re dealing with isn’t fun at all.  I’m certain that many of you have been in my shoes before, and understand what I’m going through right now.

That’s right, I’m going to be a Mommy again .. to a 13 week old black lab puppy :)  This whole situation is sad really.  A Facebook friend posted about this poor puppy who was in desperate need of a loving home.  The shelter was apparently one of those that only holds dogs for so long, and then has them put down if they’re not adopted .. and this poor little baby had run out of time.

My daughter has just turned the incredible age of 14 (going on 30!).  On September 8th she’ll start yet another chapter in her life – High School.  To say I’m afraid of what’s to come is an understatement, given what we’ve already been through!  (Nothing serious lol).  It truly amazes me how vicious girls can be, and this kind of thing has been happening off and on since my daughter started grade 7.  EEEEK!!

I am absolutely floored about just how much time has gone by since my last post on this blog… it’s absolutely shameful :(

I have been keeping busy though… on another project that kind of landed in my lap at the beginning of December – a project that puts me into my dream market (music), and with a bunch of awesome guys and gals.. from tribute to indie bands, and I am soooo loving it!

It’s been quite a while since I’ve done a family update, and given the events of the past few days, I thought now would be a perfect time.  I’m not going to do a lot of talking about these.. suffice it to say that my daughter absolutely loves our new WII Fit – and she’s not impressed that I put the video on YouTube LOL.
