Working on the Thirty Day Challenge has confirmed my suspicions – coming up with good niches is not my forte lol.
Today is technically Day 9 in the challenge – now you may wonder where the heck the rest of the days have gone, so here’s a quick update on everything:
Day 1:
- Market Research
- Traffic
- Conversion
- Product
The largest part of the Thirty Day Challenge is learning how to use free Web 2.0 websites to build traffic to your website, and one of those free sites is Facebook. When I first signed up with Facebook (approximately a month ago), I had absolutely no intentions of using it for business purposes, so I registered under my maiden name just so old friends from high school would know who I am.
Today was a relatively easy day where we were required to listen to a podcast and then watch 4 short videos. Easy as pie :) HA! lol. Ed decided to send us on a quest for ‘ideas’, and then threatened our lives if we so much as thought about the “major league niches” such as:
- Internet Marketing
- Weight Loss
- Dog Training
- Real Estate
- Mortgages
Yesterday I read a post on one of the Canadian networking groups that I belong to (CEW – Canadian Entrepreneurial Women) about the Thirty Day Challenge, so I decided to check it out, and ended up jumping in with both feet.
This challenge, which officially began today, is an interesting one. Ed Dale, Dan Raine and Nicolas Messe created the Thirty Day Challenge and will show us exactly how to start an internet business and generate our first $10 without spending a dime. Thankfully the challenge is open to everyone, newbies and experienced marketers alike. One of the interesting things is that all of the tools and resources that they’ll be introducing us are totally free and we’ll be making heavy use of Web 2.0.
